TWO WEEKS+ BEFORE TREATMENT
Protect Your Skin From the Sun
Avoid excessive or prolonged sun exposure, tanning beds, and intentional tanning before your treatment. Arriving with sunburned or significantly sun-exposed skin may require your treatment to be postponed.
-
Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily and protect your skin with a hat whenever prolonged sun exposure is unavoidable.
Avoid Threading + Traumatic Hair Removal
-
Do not thread the treatment area within 10 to 14 days of your VI Peel Precision + Peptides® treatment.
-
If you have recently had microblading performed, allow at least 10 to 14 days and ensure the area is completely healed before treatment.
Review Your Medical + Treatment History
Please notify your provider before your appointment if you:
-
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
-
Have an allergy to aspirin, hydroquinone, phenol, or ingredients found in chemical peels
-
Have used oral isotretinoin, including Accutane, within the previous six months
-
Have active cold sores, warts, open wounds, or compromised skin in the treatment area
-
Have a history of herpes simplex
-
Are currently undergoing or have recently completed chemotherapy or radiation
-
Have an autoimmune condition, liver disorder, or condition that may affect immune function
-
Your provider will determine whether VI Peel Precision + Peptides® is appropriate for you.
ONE WEEK BEFORE TREATMENT
Keep Your Skincare Routine Gentle
-
Avoid introducing new products or treatments that could cause irritation, dryness, or sensitivity before your appointment.
-
Follow your provider's instructions regarding retinoids, exfoliating acids, prescription skincare, hydroquinone, or other active ingredients. Your individual preparation protocol may vary depending on your skin and current regimen.
Avoid Unnecessary Irritation
-
Do not aggressively exfoliate, scrub, pick, or otherwise compromise the skin barrier before treatment.
Contact Nude Medical Aesthetics before your appointment if you develop significant irritation, a rash, open skin, a cold sore, or a sunburn.

Complete the Four-Hour Post-Treatment steps provided by your Nude Medical Aesthetics provider and included with your VI Peel® Aftercare Kit.
-
Use your first Post-Peel Towelette exactly as directed.
-
Your VI Peel® Aftercare Kit is an important part of the treatment itself. Follow the provided sequence carefully, even if your skin looks or feels completely normal.
-
If your treatment was performed later in the day, you should still complete the first Post-Peel Towelette approximately four hours after your treatment. Follow the adjusted evening and next-morning instructions provided by your treatment team
