TWO WEEKS+ BEFORE TREATMENT

1. Avoid Other Skin Treatments

Do not schedule chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, waxing, or other laser and energy-based treatments around the treatment area unless specifically approved by your Nude provider.

Laser-Coring™ creates controlled microscopic channels within the skin, so it is important to begin treatment with a healthy, uncompromised skin barrier.

2. Protect Your Skin From the Sun

Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning beds, intentional tanning, and self-tanning products.

Apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning and use additional sun protection, including a wide-brimmed hat, whenever prolonged outdoor exposure is unavoidable.

Treatment may need to be postponed if the skin is sunburned, significantly irritated, or recently tanned.

3. Pause Irritating Skincare

Discontinue retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs, and other potentially irritating active ingredients according to your provider's instructions.

This may include:

  • Retinol

  • Tretinoin

  • AHAs

  • BHAs

  • Exfoliating toners

  • Physical scrubs

  • Strong brightening agents

  • Prescription topical skincare

Your Nude provider may customize these instructions based on your current skincare regimen and treatment intensity.

4. Review Your Medical History

Please notify your provider before treatment if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have a history of cold sores or herpes simplex

  • Have an active infection, rash, open wound, or inflammatory skin condition in the treatment area

  • Have recently used isotretinoin or other medications that may affect healing

  • Have a history of abnormal scarring or delayed wound healing

  • Are taking medications or supplements that may affect bleeding, healing, or photosensitivity

  • Have recently undergone another procedure in the treatment area

Do not discontinue prescribed medications without first consulting the healthcare professional who prescribed them.

ONE WEEK BEFORE TREATMENT

1. Keep Your Skin Calm + Hydrated

Use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen and avoid introducing new skincare products.

The goal is to arrive for your treatment with your skin barrier healthy, hydrated, and free of unnecessary irritation.

2. Avoid Excessive Irritation

Do not aggressively exfoliate, pick, scrub, or otherwise traumatize the treatment area.

Contact Nude Medical Aesthetics before your appointment if you develop:

  • Sunburn

  • Significant irritation

  • Open skin

  • A rash

  • Cold sores

  • Active breakouts that appear infected

  • Any unexpected change in the treatment area

DAY OF TREATMENT

1. Avoid Hair Removal

Do not wax, thread, epilate, or use depilatory creams on the treatment area. If shaving is necessary, follow the instructions provided by your Nude provider.

2. Keep Skincare Simple

Continue using gentle, non-irritating skincare and diligent sun protection.

Avoid exfoliation and active ingredients unless your provider has instructed otherwise.

On the day of your treatment:

Arrive with clean skin whenever possible.

Please avoid:

  • Makeup

  • Sunscreen

  • Moisturizer

  • Oils

  • Serums

  • Fragrance

  • Other topical products on the treatment area

Your Nude provider will thoroughly cleanse and prepare your skin before treatment.

Depending on your personalized Laser-Coring™ settings and treatment area, topical numbing or additional comfort measures may be used.

IMMEDIATELY AFTER TREATMENT

Laser-Coring™ is an advanced skin-remodeling treatment, so visible recovery should be expected.

Immediately following treatment, the skin may appear:

  • Red or pink

  • Swollen

  • Warm

  • Tight

  • Sensitive

  • Slightly textured

  • Mildly pinpoint bleeding

Pinpoint bleeding is an expected response following Laser-Coring™ and may remain visible for several hours after treatment. This should gradually subside as the skin begins its early healing process.

The treatment creates precise microscopic channels within the skin while initiating a deeper regenerative and collagen-remodeling response.

Your treatment also includes Age-Zero® Exosomes and a series of three CO2Lift® Pro masks as part of your Nude recovery protocol.

Unless your provider gives you different instructions, leave your post-treatment products undisturbed and avoid unnecessarily touching, wiping, or picking at the treated skin.

POST-TREATMENT

FIRST 24 HOURS: CALM + PROTECT
Redness, warmth, tightness, and swelling are expected during the initial healing period.

Swelling may become more noticeable several hours after treatment and can be especially apparent around delicate areas such as the eyes.

Your skin may feel similar to a moderate sunburn.

Keep the skin clean and protected and use only the products specifically approved by your Nude provider.

Avoid:

  • Makeup

  • Exercise

  • Excessive sweating

  • Hot showers

  • Saunas

  • Steam rooms

  • Swimming

  • Direct sun exposure

  • Picking or touching the treatment area unnecessarily

  • Active skincare ingredients

If Age-Zero® Exosomes have been applied, allow them to remain undisturbed for the period directed by your provider.

DAYS 2–3: ACTIVE HEALING
Redness and swelling may still be visible, although the exact amount will depend on the depth, coverage, and intensity of your personalized treatment.

The skin may begin to feel:

  • Dry

  • Tight

  • Rough

  • Textured

  • Sensitive

  • Mildly itchy

  • Small areas of crusting, flaking, or visible treatment pattern may develop as the microscopic treatment channels heal.

Do not pick, scrub, scratch, or manually remove healing skin.

This is an important part of your recovery. Allow treated skin to renew naturally.

Continue your prescribed post-treatment skincare and CO2Lift® Pro mask schedule exactly as directed.

DAYS 3–5: RENEWAL
For many patients, the most noticeable social downtime occurs during the first several days following treatment.

Redness and swelling should begin to settle as the skin moves through the early repair process.
Dryness, roughness, flaking, or a sandpaper-like texture may remain.

Continue to avoid:

  • Retinoids

  • Vitamin C

  • AHAs

  • BHAs

  • Scrubs

  • Exfoliating devices

  • Fragranced skincare

  • Other potentially irritating active ingredients

  • Do not try to accelerate exfoliation.

Freshly treated skin is temporarily more vulnerable to irritation, so gentle skincare and sun avoidance remain essential.

DAYS 5–7: VISIBLE RECOVERY
By the end of the first week, many patients will notice a significant improvement in visible redness, swelling, and surface texture.

The skin may begin to look:

  • Smoother

  • Brighter

  • Fresher

  • More even

  • More refined

  • Some residual pinkness, dryness, sensitivity, or flaking may remain.

Because The Nude Transformation is highly customized, patients receiving deeper or more extensive Laser-Coring™ treatments may experience a longer visible recovery period.

Continue following your Nude provider's skincare instructions until the skin is completely healed.

WEEKS 1–2: BARRIER RECOVERY
UltraClear notes that treated areas generally continue healing during the first one to two weeks.
During this period, the skin should progressively feel more comfortable and look more normalized.
Continue diligent sun protection and avoid returning too quickly to aggressive skincare or additional aesthetic treatments.

Your provider will advise you when your usual active skincare products can safely be reintroduced.

THE TRANSFORMATION CONTINUES: WEEKS 2–4: EARLY REFINEMENT
Once the visible recovery period is complete, the deeper transformation is only beginning.

Skin texture, tone, smoothness, and overall quality may continue to improve as the regenerative response progresses.

Continue:

  • Daily broad-spectrum sunscreen

  • Gentle, supportive skincare

  • Consistent hydration

Your personalized Nude skincare regimen once cleared to resume

MONTHS 1–3: COLLAGEN REMODELING
Laser-Coring™ is designed to work beyond the surface.

As collagen remodeling develops, patients may begin noticing progressive improvement in:

  • Skin firmness

  • Wrinkles

  • Texture

  • Acne scars

  • Skin laxity

  • Overall skin quality

Unlike a treatment designed simply to create an immediate glow, The Nude Transformation is intended to produce progressive structural refinement.

MONTHS 3–6: CONTINUED TRANSFORMATION
Improvement can continue for several months following treatment as collagen remodeling evolves.
The complexion may progressively appear smoother, firmer, more supported, and more refined.

This extended remodeling period is one of the reasons the final result should not be judged solely by how the skin looks during the first few weeks after treatment.

PROTECT YOUR RESULTS: DURING THE FIRST WEEK

1. USE ONLY APPROVED SKINCARE
Keep your skincare routine simple and follow the regimen provided by Nude Medical Aesthetics.
Avoid active or potentially irritating ingredients until your provider clears you to resume them.

2. PRIORITIZE SUN PROTECTION
Avoid direct and prolonged sun exposure while your skin is healing.

Once your provider has instructed you to resume sunscreen, apply a broad-spectrum mineral SPF generously every morning and reapply when outdoors.

Wear a wide-brimmed hat whenever possible.

Sun protection is especially important while newly treated skin is healing.

3. DO NOT PICK
Do not peel, scratch, rub, or manually exfoliate crusting, dryness, or flaking.
Let the skin release naturally.

Picking healing skin can increase the risk of irritation, prolonged redness, scarring, or unwanted pigmentation.

4. AVOID HEAT + SWEATING
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, and excessive heat during the initial healing period.

Resume these activities only when your skin has sufficiently recovered and your provider has cleared you.

5. AVOID SWIMMING
Do not swim while the treatment area is actively healing.

Pools, hot tubs, lakes, and oceans should be avoided until the skin barrier is fully intact and your Nude provider has advised that it is safe to resume.

6. WAIT TO SHAVE
Avoid shaving directly over actively healing, crusting, or peeling skin. Resume shaving only once the skin surface has healed and feels comfortable.

YOUR CO2LIFT® PRO RECOVERY SERIES
Every Nude Transformation by UltraClear® treatment includes a series of three CO2Lift® Pro masks to complement your post-treatment recovery.

Your Nude provider will give you individualized instructions regarding when to use each mask based on your treatment depth, coverage, and healing response.

Because every Laser-Coring™ treatment is customized, do not change the timing of your masks or introduce additional products without consulting your provider.

PLAN AROUND IMPORTANT EVENTS
The Nude Transformation by UltraClear® is not a same-day event treatment.

Although UltraClear® Laser-Coring™ is designed to provide advanced correction with less downtime than traditional tissue-coring technologies, it is still a deeper treatment and should be planned accordingly.

We recommend allowing at least two weeks before an important event, particularly for:

  • Weddings

  • Professional photography

  • Vacations

  • Major celebrations

  • Speaking engagements

  • Events where you want your skin looking completely settled

For your first treatment or a more intensive Laser-Coring™ session, additional recovery time may be preferable.

Your exact downtime depends on treatment depth, coverage, treatment area, skin condition, and individual healing response.

WHEN CAN I RESUME MY NORMAL SKINCARE?
Do not resume retinol, tretinoin, exfoliating acids, scrubs, vitamin C, or other active skincare simply because visible redness has subsided.
Wait until:

  • Flaking or crusting has resolved

  • The skin barrier feels comfortable

  • There are no open or actively healing areas

  • Your Nude provider has cleared you to resume your normal regimen

  • Active products should generally be reintroduced gradually rather than all at once.

WHEN CAN I HAVE ANOTHER AESTHETIC TREATMENT?
Laser-Coring™ creates a significant regenerative response, so adequate healing time should be allowed before additional procedures.

Your Nude provider will determine appropriate timing for injectables, facials, lasers, chemical peels, microneedling, waxing, and other aesthetic treatments based on your individual recovery and treatment plan.

Do not schedule another treatment simply because the visible downtime has ended.

WHEN TO CONTACT NUDE MEDICAL AESTHETICS
Redness, swelling, warmth, dryness, tightness, sensitivity, mild itching, surface texture, and temporary flaking may occur as the skin heals.

Contact Nude Medical Aesthetics promptly if you experience symptoms that appear excessive, worsen unexpectedly, or concern you, including:

  • Increasing rather than improving redness or swelling

  • Significant blistering

  • Severe or increasing pain

  • Pus or drainage

  • Fever

  • Open areas that are not healing

  • Signs of infection

  • A possible cold sore outbreak

  • An unexpected skin reaction

When in doubt, contact your Nude provider before applying additional products or attempting to treat the reaction yourself.
